Hayley Bloomingdale, the 29-year-old heiress to Bloomingdale’s chain of department stores and an editor for Moda Operandi, has recently published a piece on Vogue.com which instructs readers on certain “rules” to follow when posting photos on Instagram.
The only problem with Bloomingdale’s piece is that it’s, well …; kind of mean.

“Do not post the ‘circle of feet’ (or hands) picture. It isn’t a good ’gram. Unless everyone has on spectacularly unique shoes, people will just assume you wanted to tag people but your friends are ugly.”
