One Manhattan Real Estate Developer is Building Steampunk-Themed Apartments for Millionaires

Scheduled to open in 2015, New York City’s 15 Renwick will be the first steampunk-inspired luxury condo located in Manhattan’s Hudson Square neighborhood.

For a wholesome $2 million to $7.5 million, plus very high monthly fees, you can have your own 2-4 bedroom Victorian-England-Meets-Industrial-Revolution condo.

15 Renwick also offers a 24-hour butler, Zen Garden, a “high design boxing gym,” and parking lot.

The characters and design of 15 Renwick Street come from author, engineer, and Columbia University professor James Renwick (1790-1895). His son, James Jr., was one of the most celebrated architects of his era.
