An incredibly brave German Shepherd showed dogs really are man’s best friend when he saved a group of SAS soldiers from an ISIS ambush.
The military dog was travelling with the British soldiers in Iraq when the four-vehicle convoy was attacked by 50 ISIS soldiers.
Forced to separate by an IED, the soldiers found themselves surrounded, but the pooch leaped into action and attacked two of the 50 terrorists.
“When the dog was unleashed it went after the greatest threat without consideration for its own safety,” explained a source.
The soldier pup reportedly bit the attackers, causing them to flee in terror, before “returning to its handler with its tail wagging”.
“A snarling Alsation running at you is very frightening and probably not something the jihadis had encountered.”
“It could sense the tension and had an overpowering urge to protect its handler and the other troops.”
The here dog saved the day and, along with the SAS soldiers, escaped unharmed. They were all picked up by US air support shortly after the attack.
Who’s a brave boy then?
