Finally, a 5-second pizza order.
Pizza is great, but who wants to waste two whole minutes of their life placing a phone or website order?
Luckily, the forward-thinking marketing pros at Domino’s have the solution. Soon, U.S customers will be able to place an order by tweeting either #EasyOrder or just a single pizza emoji to @dominos.
The company will then send users a direct message which must be confirmed. (Wait a minute, now it’s starting to sound like a lot of work…)
Does Domino’s then mind-read what you want on your pizza? Not quite… Customers must first fill out their food preferences for what will be set as their #EasyOrder and that is what will be made and delivered.
Domino’s CEO Patrick Doyle explained:
“It’s the epitome of convenience. We’ve got this down to a five-second exchange… We want to make it as easy as possible for people to order from us and this is pretty darned easy.“
Twitter ordering won’t begin until May 20th, so if you want a fast pie before then, you may actually have to talk to someone.
